Pierre Redelinghuys, Ph.D. PMP.

I was born and educated in South Africa. Moving to the UK more than twenty years ago was one of the defining moments of my journey. Starting over in a new country with a new life and a new career demanded real adaptability and resilience. I later made another major transition, moving from academia into industry and progressing from contract research to small biotech and then to large pharma.

Those transitions taught me the importance of building connections and relationships and revealed the immense value of coaching and mentorship. That experience continues to shape how I coach and advise others today.

I live in a beautiful part of rural South Cambridgeshire. Outside of work I enjoy running, swimming, reading, travelling and gardening.

I am an R&D and organisational leader with more than 20 years' experience across research, biotech and pharma. I've managed cross-functional programmes, shaped portfolio and investment decisions, and led business transformation initiatives at each stage of growth.

My core strengths span two areas: building organisational capability through governance and leadership, and enabling growth and investment through business case development, portfolio strategy, and execution.

My board advisory interests centre on health, wellness and education, and the technologies that advance them. These are areas where I believe insight and innovation can meaningfully improve human outcomes.
